Battle of Rhode Island Association Awarded Grant from BankNewport

The Battle of Rhode Island Association (BoRIA) was awarded a $5,000 grant from BankNewport. The funds will go toward funding our speaker series throughout the State that highlights Rhode Island’s significant contributions to the American Revolution. BoRIA Director of Grants Dr. Murray Norcross stated “BankNewport has a long and storied history of supporting many different community endeavors throughout Newport County and this generous grant helps BoRIA educate the community through our lectures and events.”
