The Rhode Island State Society Daughters of the American Revolution is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women’s service organization founded in 1890, dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America’s future through better education.
DAR members participate in a wide variety of historic preservation projects, which are crucial to preserving our history and cultural heritage for future generations.
The DAR is passionate about educating America’s youth and supports a variety of different programs, contests, and awards to help further this goal.
