The Rhode Island State Society Daughters of the American Revolution is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women’s service organization founded in 1890, dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America’s future through better education.

DAR members participate in a wide variety of historic preservation projects, which are crucial to preserving our history and cultural heritage for future generations.

The DAR is passionate about educating America’s youth and supports a variety of different programs, contests, and awards to help further this goal.

For 125 years, the DAR has carried the torch of patriotism. Patriotism is the foundation of the many DAR activities that take place in communities nationwide.
