Victoria Johnson, a native of Newport, has served as a coach, teacher, and Principal for over 41 years. She has a master’s degree in Administration and Education, Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation from Arnold College, University of Bridgeport. She was dedicated to providing students with knowledge and skills that would result in productive citizenship and lifelong love for learning. 

As a retiree, she is a co-founder of the Newport Middle Passage Port Marker Project. She is also actively involved in many community organizations such as the Newport NAACP, Newport Hospital board of Directors, Newport “Rec” Reunion, Newport AARP, and the Rhode Island Foundation.

Her goal is to practice her Mission Statement: God, Health, Family, Community and Human kindness.
